Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Our commitment: Privacy is not negotiable. We collect the minimum, we never sell your information, and every channel we offer is encrypted in transit. Want end-to-end encryption? Start on Matrix.

This Privacy Policy describes how Maxwill Media Group ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us:

  • Contact details: A name or pseudonym and the reply channel you choose (email, Telegram, Signal, or Matrix)
  • Message content: Whatever you write about your project, requirements, or budget
  • Engagement records: Information exchanged while we scope and deliver contracted work

2. How the contact form is handled

Messages sent through the contact form are encrypted in transit (TLS) and delivered to a private Matrix room we operate. No third-party email service, CRM, or analytics provider sits in that path.

  • No IP logging: Your IP address is not stored and is not included in the messages we receive
  • Transport encryption: The form is encrypted in transit, not end to end. For anything sensitive, start on Matrix instead
  • A human reads it: No autoresponder, no CRM sequence, no profiling

3. What we don't collect

We are committed to minimal data collection:

  • No IP-address logs: your IP is not stored and not attached to your message
  • No analytics of any kind, first-party or third-party
  • No tracking cookies
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No behavioral profiling
  • No cross-site tracking
  • No selling of personal data to anyone

4. How we use your information

Your information is used exclusively for:

  • Responding to your inquiries and providing quotes
  • Delivering contracted services
  • Communicating about project progress
  • Fulfilling legal and contractual obligations

5. Data security

We keep our security claims honest:

  • Encryption in transit: All communication with this site and our channels uses TLS
  • Minimal storage: Your message lives in the private Matrix room it was delivered to. We keep no copy in a CRM, mailing list, or marketing database
  • Access control: Only the people who answer your message can read that room
  • Self-hosted infrastructure: We operate our own services instead of relying on third-party clouds that could access your data

6. Data retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary:

  • Project-related data: duration of the project plus 2 years for warranty and support
  • Contact information: until you request deletion
  • Communications: 1 year after last contact
  • Financial records: as required by applicable law

7. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate information
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data
  • Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
  • Objection: Object to certain processing activities

8. Third-party services

This website makes no third-party requests: fonts, styles, and all assets load from this same domain. Open devtools and check. When you contact us:

  • The contact form path is fully self-hosted: no third-party email, CRM, or analytics providers
  • Matrix rooms we use for client communication are operated by us
  • If you choose to reach us on a third-party platform such as Telegram, that platform's own policies apply to the transport of that conversation

9. International transfers

If your data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including encryption and contractual protections.

10. Children's privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date.
